Guinness confirms its main stout range is vegan. Skelligs states that its dark and extra-dark chocolates are believed suitable for vegans; check the current wrapper. Irish soup requires a stock and cream check, while brown bread commonly uses buttermilk, egg, honey or butter. Bilberries are seasonal interest, not a dependable food source.
What to buy
Shop fully in Killarney, then use Glenbeigh, Waterville, Sneem and Kenmare. Kenmare is the last full reset before the return over the mountains. Carry plant milk, breakfast, protein, bread and one cold dinner. Village Centra, Mace and Gala branches are useful but their chilled vegan stock varies. A pub on the map is not a grocery shop.

Trail treats
Choose Skelligs dark chocolate only after checking the current label, or a dessert marked vegan on Danu's menu. Do not assume Irish brown bread or a fruit cake is vegan.
Where to restock
Clockwise via the Black Valley, leave Killarney with two or three days, reset in Glenbeigh, Waterville, Sneem and then Kenmare for the final mountain section. Anticlockwise, reverse those carries and leave Kenmare fully supplied. Shops and kitchens can close early or on Sundays, so buy before the evening and keep a cold dinner.
